Since the establishment of JOY KOINONIA, a great need was felt and that was to organize youth ministry in KOINONIA. Jesus blessed this idea, the youth ministry was started on 9th November 2006. Primarily it was started with 15 young boys and girl and now they are about a hundred in numbers. Parents appreciated the move and without any doubt and hesitation they encourage joining JOY Koinonia youth. These young people preferred to attend the meeting rather than watching television. Now they were not TV lookers but church goers.

Since January 2008 Bible study for youth is arranged twice in a month, on Saturday. Fr. James takes the class and mainly the topic is The Word of God for Life.
