Keeping in view the previous efforts and work, which unfortunately could not continue after Fr. James Shamaun transfer? It made him to think to form a Charismatic Ministry mostly consists of lay people. As he started his work in Rawalpindi it spread rapidly in his parish hundred and outside his parish. Hundred of catholic Christians him and supported his charismatic work. He thought to secure his spiritual work and decided to form a charismatic ministry. So he consulted some person and established Joy Koinonia Pakistan a prayer fellowship among catholic community. It is not apart from Catholic Church but it is strengthening catholic spiritually, morally and socially.

Having this back ground Jesus Owns You Koinonia was formed. Joy Koinonia established in December 2005 within its beginning there were 300 registered members but now there are more than one thousand. It has an Executive Board that consists of eleven members. These board members are subordinating of chairman and they have different responsibilities. The board members are very dedicated and devoted to their mission. They arranged different programme and visited members and non members and keep a true fellowship with them.

December 15, 2005 was a grand, memorable and a historical day for the fact that a rectangular prayer body came in existence. It was the day of the birth of JOY Koinonia Pakistan. The name was finalized after discussion and consideration as it was found to be the most benefiting name and nearly 300 people became its members on the very first day and started the work for winning souls for God.

Fr. James was named as chairman of JOY Koinonia Pakistan. An Executive Body was formed to run this major task successfully. The Body consisted of 12 members and each was assigned responsibility to make JOY full of prayer and happiness.
